About the Role
Eastside Surgery Center is seeking an experienced and dynamic Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. This is a leadership role with broad responsibility spanning clinical operations, front office management, financial oversight, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. The Administrator serves as the operational hub of the Center, ensuring exceptional patient care, financial performance, and our continued premier reputation within the community.
What You'll Do
Operational Leadership

Oversee all daily operations of the Surgery Center, ensuring seamless patient flow through the surgical experience

Serve as liaison between clinical staff, physician offices, the billing company, and the Board of Managers

Lead and support the team through routine operations and emergency situations
-
Maintain and update all manuals required for certification and accreditation (including AAAHC)
Financial Management

Assist in preparation of the annual budget and review monthly financial statements
-
Monitor Accounts Receivable data, including productivity, collections, and account aging
-
Oversee purchasing, coded invoice approvals, and vendor contracts
-
Implement cost-effective measures within fiscal guidelines
Front Office & Billing

Supervise front office staff and billing processes to ensure timely, accurate patient registration, insurance authorizations, and data submission

Act as liaison with the external billing company to resolve claim issues and ensure compliance

Monitor scheduling to ensure appointments are efficiently booked and confirmed
Clinical Operations

Collaborate with the Clinical Manager to determine appropriate staffing assignments that meet patient care needs and budgetary goals

Serve as an onsite clinical resource and subject matter expert; provide one-on-one teaching as needed

Monitor daily patient flow and conduct ongoing room utilization studies

Assure compliance with clinical policies and procedures
Staff Supervision & Payroll

Manage hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations (90-day and annual), disciplinary actions, and salary recommendations

Approve timesheets and submit accurate payroll summaries to the payroll vendor on a biweekly basis

Conduct regular staff meetings and foster a positive, team-oriented culture

Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local labor laws
Quality & Compliance

Participate in and assist with Governing Body, Infection Prevention, Safety, and Quality Committee meetings

Conduct chart reviews for completeness and documentation consistency

Ensure the Center meets all state, Medicare, and accreditation standards
Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor's degree (BS) or equivalent college degree; current state clinical license required
-
Experience: Prior management or supervisory experience with fiscal responsibility in a for-profit healthcare setting preferred; experience in infection prevention and control a plus

Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; experience in a surgical setting required

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state, Medicare, and accreditation requirements; AAAHC experience preferred

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; prior experience with billing systems/software

Clinical Knowledge: Working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, ICD codes, patient registration, and billing processes preferred

Soft Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills; professional and approachable demeanor with patients, staff, and vendors
Physical Requirements
This position involves extended time at a desk and computer, with frequent movement into clinical areas of the facility. Professional business attire is required when not in surgical scrubs.

Surgical Technologist
FULL TIME/ NO NIGHTS/ NO WEEKENDS/ NO HOLIDAYS

EXPECTATIONS OF POSITION:

Serve in the primary scrub role during assigned core procedures

Coordinate equipment, supplies and instrumentation according to the surgeon’s preference cards

Assist team member with positioning, moving and transporting patients

Assist with preparation and draping of patient

Function competently within multiple specialty areas and serves in a flexible scrub role with minimal notice

Alternate with other staff to work as sterile to processing technician
EXPERIENCE:

One-year of experience as a surgical technologist (preferred)
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic candidate that is excited to come to work and be a part of this fast-growing surgery center. This person would be working equally as a central sterilization technician and a primary scrub for our busy ASC.
RN Circulator
Schedule: Full-time NO weekends, NO on call, NO holidays

The goal of everyone at Eastside Surgery Center is to deliver premium care in an environment most relaxing for the patient.
The Registered Nurse (RN) – oversees and directs the care of the surgical patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the care of patients in all-surgical specialties. The Registered Nurse serves as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
