RN Pre-Op/PACU - Eastside Surgery Center

Schedule: Full-time NO weekends, NO on call, NO holidays

  

Our center offers a safe, convenient, high quality alternative to inpatient or outpatient hospital care. Eastside Surgery Center is fully certified and licensed by both the State of Washington and the Medicare program. The goal of everyone at Eastside Surgery Center is to deliver premium care in an environment most relaxing for the patient.

 

The Registered Nurse (RN) – oversees and directs the care of the surgical patient.  The Registered Nurse is responsible for the care of patients in all-surgical specialties.  The Registered Nurse serves as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.  Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.  When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)

  • RN License in WA state (required)

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)

  • ACLS (required)

  • One-year experience in Pre-Op/PACU or Critical Care (preferred)

Patient Service Coordinator / Medical Receptionist

Schedule: Full-time NO weekends, NO on call, NO holidays

 

Eastside Surgery Center is an established and growing Ambulatory Surgical Center with an excellent work environment. We are looking for a Patient Service Coordinator / Medical Receptionist.  This person should share our passion for helping people and providing excellent outpatient care to our patients. This position is perfect for someone who has previous administrative experience and strong background in customer service. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED:

  • High School Dioloma (required)

  • Capable of completing several tasks simultaneously and handling multiple interruptions

  • Capable of working independently and seeing projects through completion

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Quick to learn new skills and flexible with changes in duties

  • One-year customer service experience (preferred)

  • One-year contact with medical terminology/medical patients (preferred)

 

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic candidate that is excited to come to work and be a part of this fast-growing surgery center.  This person would be working at the front desk while handle phones and greeting patients and visitors.  They would be involved in communicating with insurance companies regarding eligibility, prior authorizations, and other coverage issues.  The patient service coordinator also assists with billing, accounts payable, and scheduling patient surgeries while communicating with several doctors’ offices.

Surgical Technologist / Scrub Technician

FULL TIME/ NO NIGHTS/ NO WEEKENDS/ NO HOLIDAYS

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

  • High School Diploma (required)

  • Certificate of completion of a surgical technician program (required)

  • Registered as a Surgical Technologist with the State of Washington (required)

  • Surgical Technologist Certification (required)

EXPECTATIONS OF POSITION:

 

  • Serve in the primary scrub role during assigned core procedures

  • Coordinate equipment, supplies and instrumentation according to the surgeon’s preference cards

  • Assist team member with positioning, moving and transporting patients

  • Assist with preparation and draping of patient

  • Function competently within multiple specialty areas and serves in a flexible scrub role with minimal notice

  • Alternate with other staff to work as sterile to processing technician

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • One-year of experience as a surgical technician (preferred)

 

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic candidate that is excited to come to work and be a part of this fast-growing surgery center.  This person would be working equally as a central sterilization technician and a primary scrub technician for our busy ASC.
