Ryu Yoshida, MD

 

Ryu Yoshida, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and arm. He is dedicated to relieving pain and restoring function so patients can return to the work, activities, and passions that give their lives meaning.

After graduating from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Yoshida earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He then completed orthopaedic surgery residency at University of Connecticut and then a fellowship and hand and upper limb surgery at Stanford University. He brings extensive experience in complex upper-extremity care. He previously practiced at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for six years, where he treated complex injuries and performed advanced surgical procedures, including finger and hand replantation.

Dr. Yoshida chose Snoqualmie Valley Health for its strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care within a close-knit community. In addition to hand and upper-extremity surgery, he has a clinical interest in peripheral nerve disorders, including restless leg syndrome, foot drop, and occipital neuralgia, and is passionate about helping patients navigate these often complex conditions.

Outside of work, Dr. Yoshida enjoys music, drumming, cooking, and fixing things around the house.
